How to make money Selling your photos Online

If you’re a professional photographer (or even just a hobbyist) you should consider the possibilities of selling stock images online.

Today, though, there are countless Internet millionaires who turned a great idea into obscene profit, used the power of the web to promote their offline business or simply worked their butt off to sell their skills online. While it’s unlikely that you’ll ever earn enough to be your own boss, there’s nothing to stop you from using your skills to make a comfortable living online. In fact, while the media would have you believe that online success stories are limited to just a few lucky, hard working people who stumbled on a great idea that went on to make millions, the reality is that there are tens of thousands of people who make a living exclusively online selling their photos online.

The Internet has caused an explosion in the demand for stock photography. As the number of media and commercial outlets has increased dramatically with the growth of online media there’s an enormous need for high quality stock photos.

Here is how it works. You build a nice collection of great photos, and you want to begin selling them. You sign up with a stock photography company (which am gonna be listing some few as you read) and in return, if someone buys your photo to use in their work, then you get a percentage of each sale. If your work is good enough, and your photos are relevant to a certain topic, they could be worth money.

Yuri Arcurs is the man everyone turns to for their stock photo needs. As the world’s top selling stock photographer he sells an image every 8 seconds, 24 hours a day (that works out to over 4 million images each year). Arcurs makes millions of dollars each year simply by being the best at what he does. There are lots of great photographers in the world and the barrier to entry is as low as ownership of a camera, but Arcurs has managed to build a reputation online for consistent, high quality and imaginative images.

Numerous stock websites like www.shutterstock. com, www.shutterpoint.com www. istockphoto.com www.fotolia.com etc. Depending on the site's policy, you can earn between a 15 to 85% royalty on each sale. The better the quality of photos and the larger your online portfolio, the more you will sell. Usually, each photograph you want to upload will have to be 'selected' by them first — and they usually have strict requirements of what can or cannot go on sale.

7 Things Successful People do Differently.

Before i start my write ups on How to make Money on the Internet, you have to work with this.
As a man thinketh in his heart, so he is or better put, you are the product of your thoughts. Everything they say starts from the mind and successful people have proven that time and again. The successful man you see drive down the road or that woman you see in a special program on TV, and every other successful person you know or hear of; they all have a number of things in common, one of which is their mindset. The successful person envisions the impossible happening, ( successful people are the driving power of visions), he looks for opportunities, he doesn’t wait for them to come. The average man at the end of the spectrum has a shallow mind; he believes success is a game of luck, he sits and waits for help or a hand to pull him up, he moves in any direction the wind of life blows. The mindset is the start of a long journey on different paths for both the successful and the average man. These key points highlight some of the things successful people do differently.

CHALLENGES
The average man tries to find a way around his problems, he looks for the get- rich-quick schemes, and all shortcuts to success. He tries to circumvent problems, he runs from negative circumstances, hates criticisms or rarely heeds to advice from successful people. A successful man sees every challenge as a mountain and he almost immediately thinks up ways to get to the top (of course after seeing himself at the top). To the successful, this kind of demand becomes more fun than risk. Successful people look out for problems to solve, they find what the society demands that taps their talent or work to acquire skills that enables them find their highest level of contribution in their environment. They know that success is in direct proportion to the number of problems they can solve in life. They see an opportunity in every challenge.

BELIEf ABOUT MONEY
Successful people clearly have different stance about money compared with average minded people. An average minded person believes he is to work for every penny he earns, he has a low self- esteem and literally feeds off the palms of his boss, he works round the clock, sleeps less, eats less, and loses his work-life balance. Successful people believe their money should work for them, they spend their time investing in their future, either through their business or the right network of people. Yes they understand the importance of networking for success in life. An average man sees money as a way of getting things; successful people see money as a way of getting things done, as a tool to work. People buy things out of their lack but the wealthy buy out of abundance.

INTELLECTUAL CAPACITY
A good IQ is admirable, people with high IQs are the geniuses of our time but success really isn’t only about that. Raising your Intelligence Quotient is not a guarantee for success although that counts in some fields but successful people believe more in AQ (Adversity Quotient) than IQ. As mentioned earlier, a successful person solves more problems than the average person and this is what prepares them for life, a high IQ won’t automatically transform you into Mr Nice Guy or Miss Congeniality, it won’t give you people skills and all the attributes you need to work well with others. A high IQ is a plus but a great sense of the problems around you as well as the people you can work with to reach solutions far more outweighs the former. RISK Average people are afraid of failure, they usually wait for the perfect time to do something, it never comes. Successful people are risk takers, they cringe when things are too easy. Successful people know that failing does not make you a failure. Never trying does.

TIME
An average man ranks money on a higher value than time and easily lets it slip away either by wasting it on irrelevant things or by allowing people distract them from the very important things. To the successful, time is their most valuable asset, it is an irreplaceable resource. The wealthy say ‘I can get more money but I can never get more time’.

OPPORTUNITY
The wealthy prepare today for tomorrow’s opportunities, successful people believe in the present but are ready for the future; the average man thinks only of today – how much they earn today, how much they can get today, and forget about tomorrow. Successful people understand that today matters because it’s their opportunity for a better tomorrow. Successful people prepare for life while average people react to life.

EXCUSES
Successful people don’t give excuses for failure, when they fail in one venture, they try another but an average man give excuses for not starting at all.

The countdown is on to Beyoncé’s Super Bowl halftime show. With just a week to go, Baddie Bey is revealing more photos from her rehearsals, while not giving away too much. In the latest round of pics, she is seen dancing in a Brooklyn Nets shirt and working on her laptop while seated in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans.
Despite claims that Destiny’s Child will reunite at the Super Bowl, Michelle Williams shot down the rumors. “I hate to disappoint the people and tell them that it’s not true,” she said.
Meanwhile, some media outlets have been given an advance copy of Bey’s HBO documentary, Life Is But a Dream. In the intimate film, the private superstar opens up about her marriage to Jay-Z (“It’s every woman’s dream to feel this way about someone”), her miscarriage from two years ago, and rumors that she had a surrogate carry Blue Ivy.
“There’s a stupid rumor. The most ridiculous rumor I think I’ve ever had about me. It’s crazy. To think I would be that vain—I respect mothers and women so muchand to be able to experience bringing a childinto this world, if you’re lucky and fortunate enough to experience that, I would never, ever take that for granted. It’s the most powerful thing you can do. Especially after losing a child, the pain and trauma from that just makes it mean so much more to get an opportunity to bring life into the world. It seems like people should have boundaries,” says a visibly upset Bey (via USA Today).
